KEY TAKEAWAYS
Key Numbers: The 2026 WSOP
The 57th World Series of Poker, held at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas from May 26 to July 15, 2026, set a new attendance record. Adding up the event-by-event results published on WSOP.com gives 251,899 entries across 100 live bracelet events — the same total the WSOP itself reports as a record. In 2025, the WSOP reported 246,960 entrants, so the field grew 2.0%.
Prize money did not follow. The WSOP states that the 2026 series awarded more than $469 million, compared with more than $481 million in 2025. The Main Event field shrank from 9,735 to 9,208 entries, and its prize pool from $90,535,500 to $85,634,400.
This article compiles the 2026 results from the official WSOP.com event table — the largest fields, the largest listed prize pools, entries by buy-in level — and compares ten recurring events with 2025. Data as of November 2026.
Entries, Prize Pools and Bounties: Definitions
The WSOP.com results table lists, for every event, the buy-in, the number of entries, the number of places paid (ITM), the prize pool and the winner. A few definitions matter:
- Entries — every paid buy-in, including re-entries where an event allows them. Entries are not unique players: one person can enter many events, or the same event more than once.
- Prize pool (listed) — the figure WSOP.com shows in the “Prize” column for each event.
- Bounty events — in mystery bounty and bounty formats, part of each buy-in goes to bounty prizes. For these events the listed prize pool is far below entries times buy-in. For example, the $1,000 Mystery Millions shows $10,076,043 on 22,811 entries, consistent with bounty prizes being shown separately.
- Total prize money — the WSOP’s own series total, which it publishes rounded (“more than $469 million”).
Because of the bounty point, summing the “Prize” column gives $427,158,411 — less than the WSOP’s series total. WagerFacts does not estimate the bounty amounts; entries, which reconcile exactly, are the main measure in this article.
WSOP Results 2026: The Largest Fields and Prize Pools
Seven events drew more than 10,000 entries in 2026, and 12 drew more than 5,000. The largest was the $1,000 Mystery Millions with 22,811 entries; the opening $550 Mini Mystery Millions was second with 20,488.
| Event | Buy-in | Entries | Listed prize pool |
|---|---|---|---|
| #63 Mystery Millions NLH | $1,000 | 22,811 | $10,076,043 |
| #1 Mini Mystery Millions NLH | $550 | 20,488 | $3,649,482 |
| #34 COLOSSUS NLH | $500 | 16,269 | $4,065,771 |
| #72 MINI Main Event NLH | $1,000 | 12,560 | $9,084,410 |
| #18 MONSTER STACK NLH | $1,500 | 11,933 | $12,178,625 |
| #50 MILLIONAIRE MAKER NLH | $1,500 | 11,769 | $11,011,967 |
| #88 Gladiators of Poker NLH | $300 | 11,185 | $1,873,520 |
| #82 MAIN EVENT NLH World Championship | $10,000 | 9,208 | $85,634,400 |
| #86 ULTRA STACK NLH | $600 | 8,007 | $3,297,121 |
| #46 SENIORS NLH Championship | $1,000 | 7,538 | $4,563,330 |
By listed prize pool, the Main Event led at $85,634,400, followed by the $250,000 Super High Roller ($13,720,000 from 56 entries), the Monster Stack ($12,178,625), the $100,000 High Roller ($11,040,000) and the Millionaire Maker ($11,011,967). Seven events listed pools of $10 million or more, and 90 listed pools above $1 million.
Field sizes are highly skewed. The mean was 2,519 entries per event, but the median was only about 871, because a handful of low buy-in events drew five-figure fields. The Main Event alone accounted for 3.7% of entries but 20.0% of all listed prize pools.
Entries by Buy-In Level
Grouping the 100 events by buy-in shows where the crowds were. Events costing $1,000 or less made up a quarter of the schedule but drew 63.4% of entries.
where:
entries in buy-in group = sum of entries for all events in that buy-in range
251,899 = total 2026 entries across the 100 events
| Buy-in range | Events | Entries | Share of entries | Share of listed prize pools |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $1,000 or less | 25 | 159,604 | 63.4% | 16.8% |
| $1,001 to $3,000 | 38 | 69,473 | 27.6% | 23.4% |
| $3,001 to $10,000 | 24 | 20,453 | 8.1% | 37.2% |
| Over $10,000 | 13 | 2,369 | 0.9% | 22.6% |
| Total | 100 | 251,899 | 100% | 100% |
The pattern runs both ways: the 13 events above $10,000 drew 0.9% of entries but 22.6% of listed prize pools. The $3,001-to-$10,000 group’s large prize share comes mostly from the Main Event.

Methodology & Limitations

All accessed November 2026.
Calculations. Total entries = sum of the “Entries” column for events #1 to #100; it equals the 251,899 the WSOP reports. Growth = (2026 − 2025) ÷ 2025 × 100, using the WSOP’s 246,960 for 2025. Buy-in groups use the buy-in shown in the results table. Shares = group total ÷ series total × 100. Mean = total entries ÷ 100; median = midpoint of the 50th and 51st values when fields are sorted (857 and 884).
Limitations. Listed prize pools exclude bounty prizes in bounty formats, so they understate total prize money; the WSOP publishes its series total only in rounded form. Entries count buy-ins, not unique players. The 2025 results page also lists WSOP Online events, which were excluded from the event comparison. The Ladies event uses a discounted buy-in for women, so its buy-in field is not comparable with other events.
